Service Design covers the fundamentals of designing services and processes. It provides a holistic design approach to help an organization deliver better services. Designing a service to meet an organization’s strategic and customer needs requires coordination and collaboration.

The ITIL® Service Design certificate (SD) is the second phase in the five phases of the ITIL® IT Service Management lifecycle. The course focuses on the design of the IT services, including all of the relevant aspects – architectures, processes and policies, and documentation. These need to be aligned to meet the needs of the business, both at this point in time, and in the future.

Course Content
– Knowledge of Service Design principles and management of Service Design processes
– Management and control of all Service Design activities
– Management and application of Service Design concepts, inputs, outputs and activities
– Control and coordination of Service Design technology related activities
– Justification and control of the organisational and technological issues on Service Design
– Analysis, justification and selection of the implementation approaches, challenges, critical success factors and risks

The course includes examination preparation, practical tasks and examples of certification exam questions.

Prerequisites
Candidates are required to have completed the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management

Before the course you will get access to your personnel LMS (Learning Management System) where you can access the training material and which will help you prepare for the course and exam. All course material and the certification exam is in English.
