ITIL® is the international standard for IT Service Management. It allows IT services to be delivered more efficiently and effectively, resulting in more satisfied customers. This ITIL Foundation course is based on the 2011 publication, the successor of ITIL v3.

During the 2-day ITIL Foundation training, you will be given an overview of the ITIL terminology, the processes and functions as well as roles within the framework.
The candidates receive a broad insight to the basic principle of the “ITIL Service Lifecycle” that is described in the ITIL core literature consisting of five books: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.
Furthermore, you will be prepared for the successful participation in the exam to receive the internationally acknowledged ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
This ITIL certificate is a prerequisite for the participation in all further Intermediate Level trainings (ITIL Capability and ITIL Lifecycle Stream) as well as the highest possible certificate in ITIL, the ITIL Expert certificate.

The course includes exercises, practical tasks and examples of certification exam questions.

ITIL Best Practice consists of 5 main areas:
SS – Service Strategy‘s focus is on developing the capacity to achieve and maintain a strategic advantage, to refine and create policies, guidelines and process that cross all the ITIL Service Life cycle. So that you see on the schematic that Service Strategy crosses the entire life cycle.
SD – Service Design takes the Service Strategy and creates the design will eventually operationalize those business objectives. The focus is on the design for new changed and updated services. We are putting a new service in, we’re retiring a service or we’re changing something about it.
ST- Service Transition provides the guidance for development and improvement of capabilities for transitioning new or changed services into the live service operation. The activities that we actually put in or retire that make changes.
SO – Service Operation manages the day-to-day operation of a service, and provides guidance on the effective and efficient delivery and support.
CSI – Continual Service Improvement provides critical guidance in creating and maintaining value for customers through better design transition and operation of services.

After the training you will be able to:
– Define the term “service” and identify, which additional value “Service Management as a practice” bring to your company
– Understand the concept of “Service Lifecycle” as well as goals and their business value during the different lifecycle stages
– Understand and classify the main terms and concepts of ITIL
– Define functions, processes and roles as well as their responsibilities

Before the course you will get access to your personnel LMS (Learning Management System) where you can access the training material and which will help you prepare for the course and exam.
All course material and the certification exam is in English.

The duration of the training course is two days. The costs for the ITIL Foundation training course are:

This price excludes VAT and includes all costs for training material, location, luch, coffee, tea etcetera.
